New: Smart Proofreader for proofreading with more context

A good translation isn’t just about the right words. The coherence between different parts of a page also plays an important role. Yet the existing Proofreader checked only one content block at a time.
That’s why we’re introducing the Smart Proofreader. With this new feature, you can select multiple content blocks at once. As a result, the Proofreader better accounts for the interrelationships between them and provides more consistent and relevant suggestions.
Why is context important?
A web page usually consists of multiple components that together form a single whole. Consider, for example:
a page title;
An introduction;
subheadings;
call-to-actions;
Product information.
If you check these elements separately, the context is sometimes missing. As a result, suggestions do not always align well with the rest of the page.
With the Smart Proofreader, you can check multiple content blocks at once. The Proofreader evaluates the selected sections within their mutual context and thus provides more consistent suggestions.
How does the Smart Proofreader work?
You can find the Smart Proofreader in the editor via the new Smart Proofreader button.
Improve existing translations in four simple steps:
Select a content block with multiple elements.
Choose which elements you want to include.
If necessary, add a brief context and choose a writing style.
Review the suggested improvements, select the changes you want to apply, and save them.
